OUR STORY

In 1975, my grandfather (Pop) took his first of many journeys down the West Fork of the Chippewa River in Northern Wisconsin. This soon transformed into an annual adventure that our entire family, especially my father, has cherished.  

In 2018, I took my first crack at the generational fishing trip on the Chip, and SLAB Outdoors was born after witnessing my father struggle to fillet on less than ideal surfaces. The concept for a durable cutting surface was quickly formed with the focus on portability & overall efficiency. The single product soon transitioned into the SLAB brand that is deeply rooted in family & innovation. 

We are committed to creating durable, portable gear that enhances your outdoor experiences and this mission is not taken lightly. Our slogan, Take It With You, speaks to the outdoor memories our family & friends have made over the years.
